According to ABC News, it wasn't "one time out of a hundred". They used these techniques on 14 top Al Qaeda with good results. That saved lives.

Try as I might (and oh, did I try), I couldn't find anything about it on the ABC News site. Seriously, it has to be one of the most poorly designed sites out of all the big US news stations. Any chance you could point me to a page on the site? Unfortunately none of the FreeBSD Flash players can handler video yet.

And on a completely unrelated topic: may I enquire as to what has you so busy you've virtually abandoned the blog?

I don't know of anything that's been posted on ABC News' site. I'm just going by what ABC News' representative said on The O'Reilly Factor from that video.
may I enquire...
Sure, for one, work doesn't seem to be providing me with an abundance of things I want to link. Not sure why that is, but in general I don't have as many things I see during the day that I'm like "ooh, I have to remember this and blog it" as I used to.
But the primary factor is that I've gotten myself into World of Warcraft. Basically, rather than watching TV and wasting my time reading blogs and blogging about things I was tired of well before I started playing, I'm spending that time playing WoW instead. I hated the cycle of logging on and reading every new thing I had in Bloglines and finding things that were "interesting" (but unimportant) and being compelled to blog them. Now I raid with dozens of other people and get to kill big dragons
It may (or may not) be as much of a waste of time as my old daily routine was, but I'm having way more fun with this waste of time.

That stuff can ruin your life. It's not nicknamed "World of Warcrack" for no reason, after all!

Right, so the one time out of one hundred that it actually produces useful information is proof that it works? Meanwhile, there's a nice wee discussion on the topic on Rafe Colburn's blog.
