Linspect: Linux system monitoring and management freeware for Windows. They have some useful-looking software for doing things over SSH, including the Linspect Editor, which lets you edit files over SSH. The normal way I edit files on a server over SSH is with jEdit, since it supports SFTP, but jEdit is a lot to install for a quick edit. However, WinSCP happens to have a great feature that lets you edit a file on the server, and they appear to have a standalone version, and I'm not sure the Linspect editor would be much more useful than that.
Update: Just tried the Linspect Editor (3/14 '06) and it literally doesn't work. The file browser unbelievably shows the wrong field of the ls. Did they only test it on Linux or something?

If you want to edit remote files, you need to have an access to a Linux server running SSH1 or SSH2.
I guess they really dont support FreeBSD.
Update again: Links on their site are even broken. I went to their forum link to see if they had any info about using Linspect Editor on FreeBSD, and it just goes to their product page. Jerks. I can't believe I polluted my system with their software.
