That is very, very interesting to anyone who ever has to use CF. This whole time, I've been wondering why Charlie Arehart (sp?) et al. even bothered building BlueDragon, no one's gonna buy it, etc.

I guess I was completely wrong on that one. Kudos to them building a better CF than Allaire/Macromedia/Adobe.

I'd the pleasure of poking around the source for both (that's a story I'm afraid I can't really go into for legal reasons, but it was really cool), but yeah, both the original Java BlueDragon and BD.NET are definitely superior to the original, bar a few bugs (one nasty one of definite note was that it had difficulties coping with <cfassociate> correctly). Charlie Arehart's a pretty decent guy to boot.

That's not really news to anybody developing in CF though.
