TypingTest.com - Test Your Typing Speed. Pretty good typing test, only I got pretty screwed up by the fact that you're not allowed to go back and edit words after you hit 'space'. So, watch out.

Whitehouse.gov: National Strategy for Victory in Iraq (via Glenn Reynolds). Wonder how it compares to Den Beste's strategic overview (which I just noticed has been updated).
Also, just read this link, via Reynolds. Since history isn't my strong suit, I learned some things about how we bungled Vietnam in comparison to how we're doing things now.
Update: Also relevant, from today: Remarks By The President On The War On Terror (via LGF).

Bookpool: Cross-Platform GUI Programming with wxWidgets. Good book. By Julian Smart (creator of wxWidgets) and others.
Just wished it 1. covered wxPython a bit; 2. covered wxStyledTextCtrl; 3. had a chapter discussing different approaches to GUI frameworks, so I could learn some of the details of how GTK, Qt, Windows (Win32, MFC, and .NET), Motif, Swing, SWT and so on compare from someone who'd know the best.
