American Idol blog

This American Idol blog seems like a great place to get the skinny on American Idol. I wanted to know who got voted off tonight, and there it was.

I've wanted Scott gone for as long as I've seen him on the show, but over the last few times I've seen the show I've thought Anthony was worse, and I thought Scott was actually decent last night. Oh well. Anthony's gone next week. Then Vonzell, then Bo, and Carrie wins. That's my prediction anyway.

I think Anthony is gone next week for sure. He's been a lame duck for a while, as has Sean (though I found him at least amusing).

The last three are a tough call, though...

If I was to pick based on pure marketability, Carrie is the likely winner -- young, blonde American beauty.

If I was to pick purely on pipes, I have to go with Vonzell - she's definitely a diva, and that could work.

If I was picking best overall package, that's Bo. He's clearly more skilled as a singer than Carrie, and he's a better performer than Vonzell -- plus, as the only guy left in the competition (well, soon enough he will be), he could possibly win the teenybopper chick vote, and do not underestimate the power of the teenybopper chick vote. He's gotta do something with his hair, though. Girls tend to get catty around their own kind, from my experience.

As for me, I like Bo the best, and would like for him to win -- not that I have a lot emotionally invested in the competition. I can see the final going any direction with those last 3, though.

sure, Carrie is the hottest. But I miss Tania. you can still play with all their faces (even the fallen ones) at rubberfaces.com - they have a big Idol section there.

Anthony. Vonzell's next. Then it's really a tossup between Bo and Carrie. I'm beginning to think it may be Bo who'll win. And after seeing him this week, I'm ok with that.
