2. Caroline Dhavernas, the beautiful lady (even if she is French-Canadian) who was (sniff) the star of Wonderfalls, will be on the radio in Chicago this Sunday. This'll be (assuming I remember to listen) the first time I've heard Dhavernas herself speak (i.e. not as her character).

4. Roger L. Simon on those looking for an "exit strategy":

   I wonder if, deep down, what those seeking an immediate "exit strategy" really fear most is that we will actually be successful. They would rather the Iraqis suffer than they be embarrassed or, horror of horrors, lose an election.

   Also read his post for some perspective on Iraq and the insurgency (which we're continuing to roll up).
