Thinking Forth. I've been wanting to read a book on Forth for years. Looks like this is it. That link is the homepage for the book, and it has the entire text available online (even the LaTeX sources!). Not that I won't buy the book if it's good. Via Chris.

It only lasted one year on FOX, but Firefly was, in my opinion, the best space-opera sci-fi series ever on television...
... the writing is witty, just a little tongue-in-cheek, and keenly aware of what good science fiction is supposed to be.
Though I could make a good case for Firefly being the best western on television since Maverick.
