  1. Simon Willison: rel="nofollow". This might be an answer to my question. If only robots.txt supported wildcards (or better, regular expressions).

TextDrive

TextDrive seems like the place to move to. It's a perfect home for geeks, and its data center is The Planet (which is the best). Only, the plans don't fit me. The $12 plan would fit me just fine if it had a lot more traffic and addon domains. The $25 plan is more than I want to pay, and on that plan I still need more traffic and more addon domains, but I don't need so much space and databases and such.

I wish there was a plan in between that offered me the bandwidth and maybe a teeny bit more space than the $12 plan, and maybe let me pay a one-time fee to get more addon domains.

Update: What Jason claims very popular sites use for bandwidth doesn't mesh with what my control panel says I use. Oh, and I'm already using gzip compression through PHP's output filters.
