lilina looks like a fairly neat aggregator (via a comment on Kellan's blog, via Alex). I don't think I like having feeds broken up into separate "folders" like most aggregators do. lilina shows all news items as one stream.

I've never understood how people try to do I/O in a purely functional language. (Purely) functional languages are by definition side-effect free, while I/O is itself a side effect.

Yes, it's still comment spam if you came here with the sole intent of leaving a comment, even if your comment is (mostly) on topic.
Sometimes I get comments that are moderately spammy, and I look at my referrers and the person got here by searching for something like "[their topic] blog" (or weblog, or 'post comment'). Jerks.
