Ooh, and I picked up a couple bottles of Johnnie Walker blue in the duty-free shop on the border for "cheap". And a Toblerone, of course

Yay! Welome back! A few things: On your archive, the back link to go to the previous day seems to be messed up (it links the current day, instead of the previous one)...
And, I've been meaning to ask if you had tried (and what you thought of) these RSS aggregators:
Pluck: http://www.pluck.com/products/rss-reader.html
Rocket: http://reader.rocketinfo.com/desktop/

Thanks very much for the bug report. I'd changed my date handling code slightly and didn't notice a dependency I'd missed. Strangely, it turns out MySQL treats WHERE DATE(Creation_DT) < '2005-12-26 00:00:00' differently than WHERE DATE(Creation_DT) < '2005-12-26'. I don't know why. (The latter was the one that worked correctly, btw.)
(update: maybe it works by comparing the resultant strings lexically? I'd always assumed it works by comparing according to its internal date type.)
And, I hadn't heard of either reader, but I'll be checking them out shortly.

Toblerone! Gach! Poison! (Literally!)
In around Boston the middle of January or February? 'Cause I'll be there if you're up for a few pints.

Literally poison? How so?
I'm driving back to Tennessee in the second week of January, unfortunately. But thanks for the invite, mate.

Toblerone is not poison. The manufacturing process does allow for a certain amount of mercury, though. And mercury is quite poisonous...
But here's the thing... tuna and other "red" fish have just as much, depending on the kind, or even more than would be found in your typical toblerone. Also, all honey contains a certain amount of botulism -- the reason you can't give it to infants... Peanut butter contains a certain amount of insect parts, several of which are known to be toxic (such as the dried venom sac of a spider)... the list goes on and on...
See what I'm getting at? Just about anything you eat has something bad in it. I think Keith G. was probably joking about Toblerone being a literal poison, but I still wanted to throw that out there.

I was being ha-ha-only-serious: it's literally poison to me as I'm allergic to almonds and so can't eat nougat
