What is it with "right" vs "left" with you?
A curious, inquisitive, and observant scientist killed Terri Schiavo?
That's a stupid caricature of what White wrote, and you know it.

Uh, hardly. I think what White wrote was pretty stupid.
re: right v. left - I'm more libertarian/centrist.

You've shown you haven't even understood it.
Edit: Did you even read his whole post?

No, my comments were based off your synopsis.

We show more mercy to mass murders and rapists...
We show more compassion to our pets. I'm curious, how do the people who are all for fighting for life on a machine till the end feel about putting their pets to sleep when the injury, disease, or suffering is too severe?
I've always found it curious that we have no problems putting our pets to sleep in the name of stopping the suffering; but we refuse to entertain the same for ourselves.
Sure, some will say it's apples to oranges, but endinf life is ending life in spite of the context. I've put a pet to sleep, as I'm sure many have. And I've have no problems doing the same for someone I loved if that was their wish. At least they got to express the wish. The pet didn't.

All and I I understand most of the points except regard to the judicial on 2 points:
especially as law reflects God's creatorship and sovereignty
Law is vague on creationship, that is the entire debate on abortion. The reality is an unborn child cannot sustain life prior to 24 weeks. So where do you draw that line.
Additionally, as I have noted in a recent post titled:
Rationally Reflecting on the Schiavo Case There are open questions and need for Judicial reform, however, be careful where you are seeking to reform.
With seemingly volumes amounts of data, either one of two things are true: The claims that the Florida Judicial is corrupt and ignored the facts or the Schindlers attorneys were incompetent and did not present them clearly. I see no other possibilities.
While all of this provides insight into the events of the Florida Judicial, it does not excuse the contempt many have for the 11th Circuit Court in Atlanta. I will add more on this in the future.
I think we also need to question the U.S. Congress. This was a very extraordinary case, a tragedy yes, but a very specific case. As I have questioned before, was Congress getting involved in The Terri Schiavo case a slippery slope? We cannot afford for Congress to continue this level of involvement.
All this said I am not siding with Micheal Schiavo, he is a scumbag. But lets make sure we are getting upset with the correct people.
My thoughts.

Geez, whenever the right brings up creationism, my eyes glaze over (my eyes glaze over when the left bring up a lot of issues too). A curious, inquisitive, and observant scientist killed Terri Schiavo? Give us a break - that's the height of overexaggeration. Man is a mammal. But unlike the rest of the mammals, we have a society of rules much more advanced than any other species (with which, we do share evolutionary heritage).
