Sparticus, that was the Nobel Peace Prize, which is a (sad) joke. I linked to a couple of weblog posts about it in my other post about Prescott. The Nobel Prize in economics is still very much a great honor to receive, as are the Nobel Prizes in probably every other area.

And last time I said I agreed with you in being against government spending increases as well. However, our deficits aren't that large historically, and the best way to grow out of them is to grow the economy, which is what tax cuts help do.
