Bush is a victim of his success

Glenn Reynolds has a great post up exemplifying how Bush is a victim of his own success. That's one of the points Dick Morris has made as well. If Bush loses the election (which I think is unlikely), it will be because he was too successful.

Though, he forgot some things such as:

As a result of the Iraq war and Libya's subsequent capitulation, uncovered a global network of nuclear proliferation that had been going on for years undetected.
