Kuby is, in heart, doing what he thinks is right. As are most other liberals and conservatives. Kuby is a very, very intelligent man (in legal practice, atleast) and he uses reason to argue. He is not as moronic as Curtis, who I support, but really, against Kuby, he's nothing. I listen to the show almost daily and love it. Its slowly converting me... I realize, but I can see where he comes from. He is a perfectly irrational person when it comes to economics. He better work on that --- but in every other case... I hold him in high office.

Yes, Kuby is a very, very intelligent man. He can even create his own phrases. "Vetted out" is a Kuby creation. It means "to examine or evaluate." This phrase can not be found in any English dictionary.

Peter, that's stupid. To vet is a word, so sure you can vet out something, just like you can suss out or figure out. This is what you're giving Kuby crap about? You think Kuby "made up" the phrase? Grow up and go away.

i hate to disillusion you, but i've listened to curtis and kuby from the beginning, and i believe "vetted out" is one of curtis' pet phrases. he's always vetting someone out, or recommending that they be vetted out. curtis is no brain trust, God knows, but his use of the phrase is hardly the strongest indication thereof. as for kuby, i think maybe you're just a conservative irritated by a brilliant, articulate and FUNNY liberal whom you fear is smarter than you. also, like most liberals, he's got a good heart and a real feel for the underdog, two qualities that conservatives rarely display.

maybe you should take a leaf from his book, instead of making your envy of him so painfully obvious.
