Class A is the most common, and not the best. The "best" for deprecating www is Class C. Class B is optimal, but not "best" (Class C means trying www. to access the site doesn't work at all).
So it seems they're in reverse, or are we?

Only reason mine doesn't is that I echo the HTTP_HOST, so the front page always has the full URL that you go to, and so the content is different for every alias.
