• AppScripting - via raelity

AppScripting allows MacPython users on OS X to manipulate scriptable applications using ordinary Python code. Like AppleScript (Apple's own IAC language), AppScripting presents application object references and commands using a syntax that's immediately familiar to users.... AppScripting goal is to provide MacPython with application scripting facilities comparable to those of AppleScript.

• Simon thinks object relational mappings are over-rated.... I agree in general, though Class:BI, used pretty impressively in this article (linked to earlier), seems to be excellent. Though, the usage in that article exemplifies why OR mappings can be inefficient. I'll explain why later, since I'm going out now

I'm back

Woo. Fun New Year's! Spent a few days and nights down by my friend Angel's house in Tom's River. Good food, lots of dancing (I had fun watching, anyway), and good time spent with lots of friends.
