Thanks for the comments. I haven't had much time to do much of anything. Many comments on here I've let go unanswered, and I've really wanted to respond to things. In addition, I have some temporary posts I've half written sitting in my copy of wikidPad that I haven't gotten to post yet.
Not to over-analyze, but there are different "styles" of weblogging... Sometimes you have to go to extremes to come back and find a balance.
Also, many times I'd like to keep track of something, or link to something and make a few brief comments, and del.icio.us is a great way to do that, so long as your comments fit under 255 characters. Sometimes I have to squeeze
I wouldn't want to stop posting at del.icio.us... I'll have to find a balance. Thanks for feeling free to say something.

Question: Would it be better if I split up the long list of links into different sections within the post based on the tags I use in del.icio.us? For instance, I could have a "news/politics" section and a programming section, and an "other" section to cover everything else. That would split things up and make it easier to see what any given link was about. What do you think?

I can't even wade through these lists, I swear... it's just too info:link dense. And you know I read your blog regularly, but these link trees just make me feel like I'm drowning.

Sorry to not respond to this earlier... if you split the links up by section, then I agree that would make a great difference also in wading through the information.
Good idea, and I wholeheartedly understand being too busy... Good luck with whatever is keeping you busy.

Keith, a little constructive criticism of the del.icio.us link API you are using. It is just too much. I found your lists of links used to be interesting with one major theme driving the posting and only a few links which were easier to read through and pick out those I actually wanted to click on. Now the links are not coherent with a message of the post as the post has no message except that it is a big group of links. I find it hard to skim through them and click on any I am interested in.
Not only that, it seems all these links in big groups have cut down on your normal posts that take one of two of those links and write up your views on them.
Just my two cents...
