I agree that Cryptonomicon seems fantastic. I bought a small (haha) paperback version of this Stephenson masterpiece, only problem is ... ITS LONG. 1100 pages. It's like reading a box. But great stuff and accurate writing. Unlike Dan Brown's mockery of cryptography, Digital Fortress, which is sophomoric at best.

I can thoroughly recommend Cryptonomicon, the book that cryptosystem was designed for. It's one of the best fiction books I've read in quite a while.
