I have the PX-708A, and it's the best optical drive I've ever owned. I'd lick it up and down every day and pet it gently while humming a tune if I could. Seriously, it's awesome.
The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't write the newest-of-the-new dual-layered DVD+/-R media, only because it's not that new and dual-layered consumer media didn't exist at the time.
