Check out this video of one guy beat-boxing and playing the harmonica (SWF) at the same time. It's pretty cool.
I'm simplifying and de-assholing some code I wrote a while ago. I keep swearing at my past-self and bitching him out for what an code-asshole/jerk he was.
I was pleasantly surprised just now to find very conservative-style thinking from usually very liberal Steve Dekorte:
Food for thought: Property tax means that the government owns all property and people merely rent it yearly for the price of the property tax. (since failure to pay results in eviction and confiscation of the property) To "buy" property in the US means to buy the right to rent it from the government.
Bloody already?!
Update: Comments from producer Tim Minear (via WHEDONesque):
"My 'Firefly' experience was repeating itself."
Argh!
[At first,] "Wonderfalls" felt totally different to me... Then, at some point in the process, I could sense an erosion in enthusiasm. Even as we were finding our footing and delivering to them some really exceptional episodes (ones you never got to see!), things got chilly. Then they couldn't seem to find any place on the schedule for us. Then they did... and it was Friday night. I tell you now, the moment that was announced, I knew it was over.
When I first heard it was being put on Friday night (just like Firefly was), I was hoping it was just a coincidence... that they didn't intentionally put them in a Friday-night timeslot of death again. But Wonderfalls' fate was even worse than Firefly's. Wonderfalls only got three episodes, then they moved it to another night (without really telling many people) and put it up against two very popular shows. When it didn't do well on last Thursday after they moved it and put it up against those two very popular shows (big surprise! hello?), they immediately cancelled it.
