The Elegant Universe

My friend Justin pointed me to a show that definitely seems worth watching. The Elegant Universe is a miniseries premiering October 28th which intends to explain String Theory to the layperson. The series is based on Brian Greene's book of the same name, and stars Greene as well. It's going to use lots of pretty computer-generated graphics to aid in explanation, and it seems like it should be entertaining as long as it's not pandering. See this article at MSNBC for more.
