Finally, after my calculus test tonight, I'll be able to seriously start working on my CMS in mod_python + Cheetah. I hope to stay up most of the night coding and watching TV (Angel should be great tonight). Now, that's a good night for me
Finally I have a fun language to program in as well.
After working with Cheetah for a few days, I think there are a few things that could be improved. So, I'm about to print out the developer's guide and see if I can contribute.
Via Drudge, here are the results of the investigation into August's blackout.
Invisiblog is a fantastic idea. Completely anonymous blogging, where even they don't know who you are.
invisiblog.com lets you publish a weblog using GPG and the Mixmaster anonymous remailer network. You don't ever have to reveal your identity - not even to us.
Note: there's currently no way for you to edit your content once you put it up there.
One thing it's missing is the ability to download all of your archives in XML or something, in case you ever want to move your content to somewhere else. Though, you could get all your archives and scrape them.
I also question the use of hashes for post-id's. They make for long URLs, and I don't see how they're better than sequential numbers (possibly within the month), or a short timestamp.
Man, I'm psyched. Today's episode of Angel is supposed to be awesome... and with Juliet Landau in it, I'm not surprised. Her character is one of the best Buffyverse characters ever. It'll be something nice to come home to after my calculus test is finished with me.
And, the Firefly DVDs had better not freaking be full-screen.
