Check out this Halo 2 demonstration played at E3 a few weeks ago. It looks really awesome.
It doesn't seem to open in Mozilla, and even when you open it in IE it has to stream, which sucks because it's 44 megs and their server seems to be very slow. So, here's a direct link to the wmv file so you can do a "save as".
Via Mozillazine, check out the Open XUL Alliance. It looks like there's a lot of support for XUL outside of Mozilla that I had no clue existed. Could XUL wind up being a user-interface standard for applications that aren't based on Mozilla?
Via 0xDECAFBAD, Scripting From Java explains why you'd want to use a Java-based scripting language, and at the bottom there's a great list of Java-based scripting languages. I always want to keep stuff like this around in case I wind up doing any heavy Java development in the future and might be able to use some of these things.
I can finally blog again! Since I added names to my blog entries I've had no way to enter new posts! None of the weblog APIs support names, and my CMS had no backend interface ;-P so I had to write my CMS's backend interface (at least for my weblog) before I could post again. Unless I went through phpMyAdmin, which I did a couple times
Testing updating.
Testing pinging weblogs.com, etc.
I hate PHP
