PHP feature request

I want two letters added to PHP's date function to generate an ISO-8601 date and an ISO-8601 datetime. There's an RFC 822 date in there, I think there should be an ISO-8601 date/datetime in there too. If I get a chance to look at the code maybe I can add it myself.
