Public service announcement...

This is a public service announcement: Aleve sucks. It sucks. Use Advil or Tylenol or Bayer instead.

I had a headache last night, and the convenience store in Robeson campus center didn't have any Advil except for "Sinus and Cold" or something, but I figured that would put me to sleep. They had Tylenol, which works for me, but usually not as well as Advil, and they also had "single serving" dosages of Aleve available, so I figured I'd do that. It took about an hour and a half to kick in (I was in class, so I was eagerly waiting to feel better), and before I felt better I felt funky, though I can't know for sure whether it was the headache that made me feel funky or the Aleve.

So yeah, Aleve sucks. Use Advil instead.

aleve works like no other for me. advil used to be my choice, but aleve works twice as fast for me. and tylenol never does ANYTHING. i could take the whole bottle, my life would probably expire before the headache would be kicked...

Excedrin Migraine works best for me. One of my friends pointed it out to me as the only medicine that makes him feel better when he has a hangover.

I'm with Bean: Yeah, Aleve is the only thing that works for me. It's cold and sinus stuff is awesome--it got me through mono last year--nothing else worked. Interesting.

I talked to one or two other people about it that night and they had the same experience that I did. It's funny how different things work differently for different people.
