Reading the Daily Python-URL with Syndirella

I noticed that the Daily Python-URL^[1] claimed that EffNews was "the only RSS reader out there that can read the python daily-url ;-)". So I downloaded EffNews and checked it out and it did read it^[2] But I wanted to see if I could read it with my RSS aggregator, Syndirella, which has a great customizable scraper^[3]. Thankfully, the Daily Python-URL provides tons of extra HTML and comments which make it easy to pick out the date and description of an item. So I can now read the DPU with Syndirella. Rock on.

Update: Hey, look at that. Mark comments on the same thing re: EffNews

Weblogs.com speed-up

If Dave wants to speed up weblogs.com, he should just break the table up into multiple tables. Every 50 rows or so, maybe. You get the idea.

Easy to do, no major redesign, and it degrades gracefully . Try it out Dave.
