Yeah, I think those are the two designs. Though, it's conceivable they'd take bits from both of them. Don't know if you realize this, but in the Think design, the big towers are observatories, and there's a bunch (not sure exactly how many) of 85 story buildings up around it, so they have plenty of room for business stuff.

From what I read, it seems as though there's going to be some sort of performing arts center, museum, and learning center or something in the two scaffold towers--I'm just not down with the scaffolding. Like I said, there needs to be some sort of memorial, I just don't think two huge, scaffold towers is the way to go. Plus, I think the Libeskind design is really cool/futuristic looking (but not too out there), minus that one garden tower jobber.

The Libeskind design looks pretty slick, apart from the 1776 foot tower-garden-thing--a bit too odd. The THINK design sucks--too much wasted space--a memorial needs to be part of the new structure, not the entire thing. I'm really hoping that these aren't the designs two that we're going to have to choose from--I think there needs to be a bit more planning/design work. Thoughts?
