Dean's idiocy

Every time I hear something on the radio while driving and think "This is awesome, Charles has to have this", 9 times out of 10 when I go to his site, he does. This time, it was about Howard Dean's idiocy during his interview with Chris Matthews.

This is a man who wants to be the President of the United States, and his idea of how to deal with Iran’s nuclear ambitions is to apply pressure to a country that does not even exist.

Although Charles didn't have the part about how Dean wants to break up large media companies.

It was even better hearing the audio than reading the transcript.

Update: Ok, this has to go here. Dean says it's an "interesting theory" (one he seems to be positively disposed to) that Bush was "warned ahead of time by the Saudis" about 9/11.

Though the objections about Osama bin Laden (if he indeed is found alive and tried) being tried in international court are stupid. You think that it's only America that wants the man tried? Why is there even an international court?

Indeed. Though, the policy he outlined is just as idiotic.

Why is there even an international court?

Because people want there to be a post-nationalist "one-world" state. That's part of it. That's why people love the UN so much... if people considered themselves "citizens of the world" it would do away with the evils of nationalism and patriotism, which are considered atavistic in todays "enlightened" age.

I'd really recommend reading Conflict of Visions, by the way.

You think that it's only America that wants the man tried?

You think if we found him we wouldn't try him? Or if anyone else found him, they wouldn't give him to us? Smiley
