Don't know why Flash crawled back up out of the ooze, but I do know that the Flash click to view extension makes living with Flash tolerable: no autoplaying distractions, no "you must install Flash: 12 billion people can't be wrong!" redirects, just a link saying "Flash [[click to play]]" for the one in a million times when you want to see it.
