Actually, rather than just calling you a weirdo -- which I think you are, since I don't know how anyone could rationally claim what you did, and be serious -- I think it'd be interesting to see you try to justify what you said. So... justify it. Why is Bush a "war criminal"?

I'm not sure who the Dr. is, but I can speculate on his reasoning. It's because George Bush and his "pre-emptive" strategy started a war based on "knowledge" the US had, not facts. If you believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction before the war started or not isn't really the issue. The issue, plain and simple, is that the US started killing people (war) without concrete knowledge. The US did not have definitive proof, and if we did, we weren't told about it, subseqently making most of the world hate us and call us "bullies", which I don't entirely disagree with.
I think this war is about a lot of things, but one is flexing muscle. The US had "knowledge" that 9/11 was coming and didn't do anything about it. Now we are trying to be sure the world knows who the number one superpower is.

I am a proud American. I do not believe in the war but do support our troops as I hope they all return home safe. I don't agree with the "watering-down" about casualties of this war. I do not agree that the "enemy", in this case Iraq, is to blame for the casualties the US inflicts on them. Explain that to the little boy who has no arms and is lucky if he lives because of this war. Explain that to the little girl who lost all three of her brothers, her mother, and her home in the invasion. I don't think the children asked for this let alone even understand what the hell has happened to them.
Years from now I'm sure these injured children will not see it as a liberation of a country. The concept of "pre-emptive" is crap. This only allows us to rationalize the fact that we need to prove we are THE superpower of the world.
I watch the television and it makes me glad to see people being free and thanking us for what is happening. Of course I don't think Saddam is dead, and I think it is far from over. The regime has not been removed. Anyone who believes that propaganda is falsely mistaken. Then I see these children who don't understand what is happening and they are injured beyond repair. This is bad, I don't care how you look at it. If you don't believe that you are a cold, cold person.
I talk to, read, and hear people talk about this war. They talk about being for the war, like you do. I am willing to bet that if you were over there, or it were happening here, you wouldn't feel the same if you were bombed and lost your arms or legs, etc. Your opinion can be as strong as it is when you are so far away. You are TOTALLY removed from the "war". I don't claim to be any kind of authority, and I don't believe I am any closer to the war than you, but the casualties make me sick. To say that life is worth trading for the safety of others is crap. I'd like to see what happens when the people who believe this are in a situation where they have to chose saving either themselves or the 100 people around them from a terrible accident. How would you look upon them when they save themselves, because that is all they will do. But somehow, sitting here in the US, thousands of miles away, gives us such STRONG opinions. We are so in left-field it is ridiculous. Sit at your computer and type until your fingers bleed. We are all lucky that we will probably never, ever have to face what they are in Iraq. Also, don't ever be conceited enough to think you "know" about the war and what they are going through and what needs to be done when you are sitting behind your computer, getting all the facts from CNN, and the various internet resources. Go to Iraq and spend a week there, then tell me how you feel.
