The very best of everything for you. You are a very brave and courageous young lady. I am retired after 30 years Army service and during that time I met many brave and courageous young men and women. Your dedication to Duty, Honor and Country place you head and shoulders above the rest. I sincerely hope you fully recover from your horrible wounds, both physical and mental, and go on with your dream to be a school teacher. As one of the Spec Ops soldiers that rescued Jessica, I can honestly say that she will have the best that life has to offer her. I am PROUD to be an American soldier and proud that I risked my life to rescue a brave young soldier who under much stress fought through it and NEVER gave up hope that she would be rescued and returned to her family.

God bless the American servicemen and servicewomen that are overseas and please remember those who have been lost and to say a prayer for each one of them and thier families.

I have been reading about the talks of a movie about Jessica Lynch. Although it may seem a bit intrusive, especially so soon, it is a wonderful idea, not to capitalize off what has happened but to express her magnificent and amazing story. I live in Arizona, and I have watched the news listened to the radio, and followed along like the rest of the people in America. Every night I would see the local news of the many prayers fo Lori Piestawa and her family, and to know that Jessica made it out alive, and thriving, is such an amazing thing. If I were to play Jessica Lynch in a made for t.v. movie, I would feel like the most priviledged person in the world, because the people of america should see who the real 'american idols' are. They are the people who serve our country! Thank you Jessica, and to all of the men and women in the service. You've made us cry with your story, and smile that you made it home, but most of all you've made us proud of such courage and hope.

I think you are the bravest person that we as Americans have known. Having never been able to serve myself, I feel honored to know there are men and women like you protecting people like me that you do not even know. I think Jessica is a very herioc person. I dont think that I could have stayed that long in captivity and not given up. She may not have killed 20 people or Bin Laden but shes still a hero in my book. She shows that not all women are chickens and she wasnt afraid to fight for her country if she had to.
