It's a scientific fact that vegetarians are heathier because they have a better immune system and far less heart disease, stay young longer, and less likely to get disease's.

That's kind of a blanket statement - do you have any statistics to back it up?

there are a lot of vegetarians who decide not to eat meat and think that is what a vegetarian is. i'm willing to bet that these were the types of people that were chosen for this study. a proper vegetarian diet is by far a healthier diet. people take in way more protein than they need. i mention this because it is always the most popular reason given as to why vegetarians are not healthier. i'm not trying to say you don't need protein, but i am saying that you don't need to get it from meat. so that argument is totally invalid.
i am not a full vegetarian, but i eat meat very rarely. when i say rarely, it's lucky if i eat it once a month, and that's not even a full meat meal. i eat mostly organic products and fruits and vegetables. for protein, things can be combined to make the complex proteins needed that you get from eating meat.
it is more about putting natural things into my body than it is eating meat.
again, in rebuttle to your choice phrase, i'm willing to bet that those "vegetarians" don't have proper vegetarian diets. i lot of "vegetarians" do not research what they are doing and think that just not eating meat is the answer, and that is totally wrong...
