Via SnowMelt, you may want to give one of these fonts a try. ProFont was too small for me (I run at 1600x1200), but I'm giving Sheldon a try. I also just realized I like Andale Mono.
Update (10/23): Here's another font designed specifically for programming. Check out Oloron. Unfortunately, the font costs 20 bucks. Could be worth it though. I'd have to try it out first, however, and I doubt they have shareware fonts.
Here are some more fonts you may be interested in. Via Don Park, Anonymous, and here are some more fonts from R.E. Harvey.
Also see these reviews of various monospaced fonts. He likes Andale Mono too (formerly monotype.com - now I know where that came from). Turns out it's pronounced ahn-dah-LAY.
Update (9-Sep-2003): See /wiki/ProgrammerFonts for newest info.
Yeah yeah, my feed validates.
D'oh, I had an error. I had to change a "G" to an "H" in my call to date. Should be all better now.
I got 17 out of 20 in the silicone challenge. See, fake boobs look fake. Even I can tell with pretty good accuracy. Thanks Madville.
Simon has a whole bunch of links about iCal. Stuff for me to look through as I'm working on my task manager/calendar thing - next time I get some free time
Whoa!
WHEDONesque:
Not that it's got particularly spectacular revelations, but it's just such a good episode (of ALL seasons).... It's funny, it's sad, it's scary. It's Buffy! I'd call this the best episode since Tabula Rasa, and it tops that easily.
It's one of those episodes I'm going to rewatch many times... and Giles isn't even in it. All hail Drew Goddard, ME's new writer. He's made me like Willow again.
Smallville.... eh. And what was with that kid, suddenly he became so heavy that a helicopter couldn't lift off the ground with him holding it. And he was almost stronger than superman! Gaaay.
These are some crazy stats. Via Madville.com: Dim Brits Love Their Soaps.
A poll shows one-in-10 Britons cannot name a single world leader - but nearly half can list five characters in EastEnders.
I just noticed that Dev-C++ 5 beta 6 is out. I'm downloading it now for use with the programming assignment I have to do tonight.
Here's what I actually have to code (PDF). Whooo boy is my C rusty.
Check out the new and totally awesome HPANA, The Harry Potter Automatic News Aggregator. I just got a great e-mail from Jeff, its creator, telling me about his awesome service. He's granted my wish for The Leaky Cauldron to have an RSS feed, but he's done way better and combined a whole bunch of Harry Potter news sources into one master RSS feed in both version 0.91 and version 1.0 flavors. Thanks Jeff!
Dude, I am way too excited about this. I'm giddy!
