Ok, I've been trying to find out the name of a song forever. I first heard it when a Winter Guard used it for their show years ago. I don't think I thought about it much until I started hearing it every few days in the background of a commercial for New York Presbyterian Hospital. They've had different commercials, but they've used the song in the background for a long time. A while ago I actually got in touch with someone from NYP's marketing dept and asked her what it was. Recently, I tried again, and thanks to Elizabeth in their marketing department I now have the CD! It's by the Palladian Ensemble, and the song is "Diverse Bizzarie Sopra La Vecchia Sarabanda O Pur Ciaconna". The CD is An Excess of Pleasure, and the song is the third track (they have a sound sample). Here it is at Amazon and at Allegro Music. The song is on this CD too, but they spelled it wrong
