I had to stop reading that site when it degenerated into a hate fest. While I often agreed with many commentors, there was an undercurrent from some of the more ignorant that made my stomach turn.

I don't spend too much time reading the comments. But it's a great site. News you typically don't find anywhere else.

I dunno, LGF used to be much different? I just went back and read some posts from a year ago and it seems pretty consistent with today.

Ok, now I just went back and read a lot of posts from LGF. It clearly and drastically changed after September 11, but it seems to be consistent from that point on. I don't think it's any more hateful than it was then (not that it's hateful).
