Mouse update

I got a new mouse. I got the Logitech dual optical, and I'm pretty happy with it so far, except it sometimes freaks out for no apparent reason and the cursor goes to the top or bottom of the screen or something. I'll see if it keeps happening.

By the way, the ergonomics of the MX500 model sucked. Maybe it was just that I have small hands or something, but there was no place for my ring finger to sit. It was awfully designed. And all the little buttons are stupid too. The mouse I got is pretty well designed, and it has one nicely placed extra button for the thumb which I've mapped to "back". I had to change the initial mapping of the scroll button, which was set to something weird.

My other choice was Microsoft's optical blue mouse. It's very nicely designed, and it's pretty, but it lacked the back button, it was a little more expensive than what I wound up paying for the Logitech, and I really wanted to try out the dual optical aspect of the Logitech and see if it helps in Unreal Smiley winking

By the way, re: ThinkGeek being expensive. The same mouse at TG is listed at $35.99, which is actually less than the list price at $39.95 or .99. But at CompUSA they had an instant rebate of $10, and there's a mail in rebate of $10 too. So after the mail in rebate, I got the mouse for $19.95.

Firefly

This is the show they cancelled. I'm glued to my set. Joss is a genius, no matter what anyone says.

Man, one of the best hours of television ever. Damn you Fox! Though, they should have scoured the guy's ship for bounty.

More immediate assistance please.

Also, Firefly vs. the Firing Squad:

Even if Firefly is being snuffed out, it's still a milestone for Joss Whedon and his team. Stripped of his sly pop-culture references by the show's far-future setting, Whedon has proven that he can write hilarious comedy mixed with equal parts character drama and bang-up suspense. Buffy was no fluke. The people at Mutant Enemy can make great TV, and with appalling consistency.

What the hell!? How do you wind up with a huge freaking scratch on your arm and not realize how you got it? I hate when that happens. Ow.

Damnit

Damnit, damnit, damnit damnit damnit.

Finally

Finally, the bastard resigns. Via Erik.
