Hey, cool! Hi!
Yeah, I knew about the checkbox in the settings window. The issue was that I repurposed the "publish" parameter in the Blogger API to tell my website whether or not to ping Weblogs.com. So if I enabled pinging weblogs.com in w.bloggar and hit "Post and Publish", both my website and w.bloggar would ping weblogs.com. My website pinging weblogs.com was the code I was talking about commenting out. Though, I didn't realize it didn't ping when you edited a post.
And thanks for your awesome software. By the way, any clue why Ev has never updated the spec to reflect new methods that have been created? I implemented the spec at the main page for it, and then kept finding new methods were being called by BlogBuddy and w.bloggar that weren't on that list. After searching for those methods I found Yahoo Groups posts, and I've compiled a list for myself here: http://www.keithdevens.com/links/#weblogapi But it's been frustrating having to "discover" these methods rather than having them in the spec.

Nifty!
I only found out about w.bloggar recently and it seems pretty nifty. Remember how I said I was going to have to write Slant-Blog in ColdFusion? Well, I'm just after realising that there's nothing in the language for playing with sockets so I'll have to fire up Visual Studio to write some custom tags if I can't find any that'll do the job.
No sockets, no weblogs.com pinging, etc.

Hi Keith,
I'm the author of w.bloggar.
By default the w.bloggar don't ping Weblogs.com, you must set the checkbox on settings window. To configure it, click on Settings button and then on Account tab, there you'll see a checkbox with Ping Weblogs.com, check it and click ok.
Next time you post and publish a new text it will ping Weblogs.com. Editing old posts does not ping it.
regards,
Marcelo
