It's time for me to learn MFC programming. I'm looking for resources now. I don't want to have to use Visual C++, so I hope I can do it without it. Unfortunately, every book on the topic seems to assume that that's what you're using. Of course that doesn't mean that the books would be useless, but I don't want tutorials which start with "Ok, now use the Visual C++ MFC Wizard".
Here are some tutorials, but they're way too basic. At least they give some background, but I need something else. Here's About.com's MFC section. Holy bejeezus, more broken links than I've ever seen on one page... forget that one.
