It's time for me to learn MFC programming. I'm looking for resources now. I don't want to have to use Visual C++, so I hope I can do it without it. Unfortunately, every book on the topic seems to assume that that's what you're using. Of course that doesn't mean that the books would be useless, but I don't want tutorials which start with "Ok, now use the Visual C++ MFC Wizard".
Here are some tutorials, but they're way too basic. At least they give some background, but I need something else. Here's About.com's MFC section. Holy bejeezus, more broken links than I've ever seen on one page... forget that one.
Earthweb.com: On the Security of PHP, Part 1. Nowhere near as good as the other article ("A Study in Scarlet") I've seen on this topic, but a decent reminder to be careful.
That other weblog article I pointed to is an example of my poor early weblogging... one post for one topic... I hope I've since learned to be more careful. I couldn't find where I had referred to the article before because I didn't include the word "security" in the description. Google found the original article for me though when I searched for "php security".
Via LtU, Kent M. Pitman Answers On Lisp And Much More from Slashdot. Good reading. Most important question I have from it... how important is it that a programming language be able to represent a program with its own data structures, as Lisp and Scheme can?
So should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 6?
I just saw an interview on CNN with a reporter from a Pakistani newspaper who supposedly had an interview with Osama Bin Laden. He said that Bin Laden claims to have nukes, but that he won't use them unless we use chemical or nuclear weapons first. I don't know whether that's comforting or not.

Well I have finally found the crazyguy that preaches useless nonsencein A...
