It's funny. As I'm going through the atheist sites (I'm reading this page right now) I feel like I'm going back to my roots
. It's funny, because the relatives I stayed with over the past Sabbath continually argued that I should 'go back to my roots (not their words). My roots aren't in Judaism, they're in athiesm(!)
For as long as I can remember before I was a Christian, I was an athiest (weak athiest or empirical agnostic, according to the page at the link above).
Another thing that has really struck me over the past week or so, is how squishy, or slippery language really is. I knew that before, but I don't know if I had ever experienced it as much as I have recently. You can find a few examples just from the past few days of updates from this weblog. The things that made me think of it now are things like what athiesm means, and especially what Judaism means, right from this post.
