This is really odd too. The weird stuff I find when I have nothing to do with a T1. I have a T1!
This really stinks and this is really weird.
Alrighty, it's 8:59AM according to my new computer at my new job I'm here, it's my first day. I'm like the third person here, and the weather's bad, so I might be sitting around for awhile until I get something productive to do. Just keeping myself busy.
It's funny. As I'm going through the atheist sites (I'm reading this page right now) I feel like I'm going back to my roots . It's funny, because the relatives I stayed with over the past Sabbath continually argued that I should 'go back to my roots (not their words). My roots aren't in Judaism, they're in athiesm(!) For as long as I can remember before I was a Christian, I was an athiest (weak athiest or empirical agnostic, according to the page at the link above).
Another thing that has really struck me over the past week or so, is how squishy, or slippery language really is. I knew that before, but I don't know if I had ever experienced it as much as I have recently. You can find a few examples just from the past few days of updates from this weblog. The things that made me think of it now are things like what athiesm means, and especially what Judaism means, right from this post.
There's a really cool article at The Secular Web: Get a Life. I'd never heard of Genetic Programming before, and that thing about the 80's and the 81's and the 45's and whatever else was really really interesting too. So many times during the article I couldn't help saying "No way! That's so cool!". Ericka would probably love this site, if she doesn't know about it already. I've wonder if the author of the article has read Behe's book.
More articles from Martin and the gang on presuppositionalism, TAG, TANG, etc. There's an article from a guy named Adam Spurgeon Zens who I've never heard of before, defending that induction presupposes Christianity. I haven't read the articles, but here's Zens' article and here's Martin's reply. Also, I'm going to add an 'athiesm' section or something like it to my Christianity page so I have somewhere to put links to places like Infidels.org.
Oh, just so I can preserve the exact time for posterity it was at around 9:35 (maybe a little later, 9:40 or so) AM on Wednesday, January 19, 2000 that I called to accept the job offer.
Hey, it's a big day for me. I got a job! Wahooo! I'm a real programmer now!
This is for me to track my package from Amazon. They get so much of my money!
